When doing an interview for her upcoming action movie 'Wanted', the 'Mr and Mrs Smith' actress talks about whether she will be involved in 'Sin City 2' or not.

AceShowbiz - With a list of action movies, such as "Gone in Sixty Seconds", "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" and "Mr and Mrs Smith", on her resume, Angelina Jolie can be credited as one of the top Hollywood actresses who kick butt. Hence, it seems reasonable why in early 2006, she has been hit with speculation over her possible involvement in "Sin City 2". Two years have passed, but the rumor has yet being thrown out of the picture or being confirmed. Now, the actress has come forward addressing the matter.

In an interview with MTV for her latest action movie co-starring James McAvoy, "Wanted (2008)", the life partner of Brad Pitt opened up about the rumor stating that filmmaker Frank Miller wanted her to play the role of Dwight McCarthy's former lover, Ava Lord. On the occasion, when asked whether she is up for the role, the 33-year-old confessed that she still hasn't made any decision on it. "I don't know," the star of "Beowulf" stated. "I found the first "Sin City" impressive, but I don't know what they're going to do with the next one to make [it] as original as the first one. I'd be curious. I think he's a genius."

On the "Sin City" sequel itself, it is said that the second film adapted from Miller's graphic novel of the same title maybe based on the second Sin City story entitled "A Dame to Kill For". It offers the early story of McCarthy as Ava returns to his life with a dark intention forcing him to face all sorts of problems. In the first movie, McCarthy character was depicted by Clive Owen who will return to reprise the role. Other stars coming back include Jessica Alba, Brittany Murphy, Mickey Rourke, Michael Clarke Duncan and Rosario Dawson. The sequel is expected to be finished for 2010 release.
