AceShowbiz - Already has successful handbag, shoe, sunglass and swimsuit lines, Jessica Simpson is adding lingerie designer to her lengthy resume. The singer-actress is soon going to release a lingerie line, which is about to be called "Intimates."
The line, which is said to consist of bras, undies, sleepwear and daywear, will hit major department stores and online shopping sites just in time for spring 2009. Jessica, according to reports, promises to include a stylish assortment of shape-wear so that women won't need to worry about panty lines.
Speaking about her upcoming underwear collection, Jessica told Women's Wear Daily, "I like different lingerie for different occasions. I think that's the best thing about it. You can feel sexy or girly depending on your mood."
Kicked off her career in entertainment industry as a pop singer, Jessica in the meantime is prepping to release a country album. And while there have yet details of the LP's exact release date and title, she already dropped the first single from the set, titled "Come On Over", via radio stations on May 27.
