New report comes from the post-grunge rock band 3 Doors Down as they have unveiled the new video for their latest hit single "It's Not My Time". The Mississippi-based band officially premiered it on VH1.com.

The video was directed by Shaun Silva who has also directed for other famous singers, such as Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson and Sugarland. The clip was shot in Cincinnati, Ohio during the band's tour earlier this month. Not only featuring the Doors, the new video also captured a new art of disciplines about movements called "Parkouring".

Parkouring that was first discovered by a WWI French Naval officer during his trip to indigenous tribes of Africa, is the combination of natural physical skills and quickness-of-body. The technique results in less amount of energy expended and time-saving martial arts which is effective during emergencies. 3 Doors is the first to use the technique in a music video.

Regarding the single, it was the first official song taken from their new self titled album to be released on May 20, 2008. The song has been released on the Internet through iTunes on February 19, 2008 and it also has been played by the band in their tours.

3 Doors emerged on the U.S. music scene after releasing their single "Kryptonite" which earned them a major label deal with Universal Records. Since their first official debut album "The Better Life" that was released in 2000, the band have sold more than 13 million copies in U.S.

The video of "It's Not My Time" can be seen at VH1.com.
