Moviegoers should wait no longer to look into the upcoming "Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D" as Fox & Walden Media have put out a brand new domestic trailer of the adventure fantasy film starring Brendan Fraser. The compilation of clips for the modern version of the Jules Verne's famous novel runs for about two and a half minutes.

Opened with an aerial shot from outer space straight to the barren land below accompanied with the explanation from the narrator about the "world deep within our own", the trailer quickly moves on to show a woman taking a book out of a shelf then giving it to Fraser's character who continues to explain about the legend. As he flips the pages, the footage shifts to the shot of deserted landscape and Fraser with his nephew came across a place that may reveal the legend. To uncover the mystery, they then go to Iceland and unknown to them that their journey will lead them to a place under the Earth's surface and encounter many thrilling and new discoveries.

Directed by Academy Award-winning visual effects veteran Eric Brevig, "Journey" also sees Josh Hutcherson and Anita Briem as the film's stars. The film will be released on July 11, 2008 in 3-D format. Additionally, the trailer can be seen below or on its trailer page at AceShowbiz.
