A representative for Nicole Richie has denied online reports that the socialite and boyfriend Joel Madden are planning to get married soon, insisted the couple "are not even engaged."

What is it about Nicole Richie that's so hot? It's about her wedding details. Online reports are abuzz that the socialite and her boyfriend Joel Madden are planning to rush down the aisle.
OK! Magazine spoke to a friend of the couple who confirmed that wedding plans are already in the works, saying "I can't give too much away, but I can say is that it will be this summer." It appears that the wedding will be an elegant affair, the friend confirmed, adding that Nicole and Joel have already hired a celebrity wedding planner.
Invitations for the wedding are set to go out next week and Joel is said to have tasted cakes at Nicole's favorite bakery, Alice's Tea Cup in New York City. "She loves it there," the friend claimed.
Bride-wanna-be Nicole reportedly will have eight bridesmaids with no single name being made public thus far. As for what to wear for the big day, at this point both Nicole and Joel, including their baby daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden, "are just trying to get dresses together."
Hot on the heels of the wedding talks, a representative for Nicole however was quick to issue a denial, labeled them as "not true." Laid the wedding rumors to rest, the representative furthermore insisted that Nicole and Joel of band Good Charlotte "are not even engaged."
Nicole gave birth to daughter Harlow on January 11 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The infant is the first child of her and Joel. She introduced the world to her baby by debuting Harlow on the cover of People Magazine, on newsstand on February 29.
Getting her shape back soon after giving birth, Nicole was also quick to be back on business, working on a fifty-piece collection of jewels, which are expected to hit stores by autumn 2008. She, moreover, has also revealed plans to launch her own maternity line.
