After The Beatles week, the finalists of American Idol Season 7 will be singing songs by Dolly Parton and what's special about the week is that Parton will also appear as their mentor. The April 1 show will see the country star personally assisting each of the 9 remaining contestants on her biggest hits.

Beside making an appearance at the performance show, Parton will also return the next day to take the stage. She will sing "Jesus and Gravity" that is taken from her new album "Backwoods Barbie" on the April 2 show which is also the Result Day. Also performing that day is bluegrass band The Clark Brothers, who was declared the winner of The Next Great American Band, a spin off of American Idol.

Other celebrities who have been set to appear in the future are Neil Diamond, composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and Mariah Carey who will sit at the judging panel as well as participate in Idol Gives Back.
