Clay Aiken to Release Second Album in May

Clay Aiken will wrap up his Broadway role and promote his second album 'On My Way Here', due May 6.

AceShowbiz - Clay Aiken made an impressive sale with his debut album, the 2003 "Measure of a Man" that sold 613,000 copies in the first week. The American Idol graduate reveals that he will release the follow up later this year, entitled "On My Way Here".

The second album will be released on May 6 via 19Recordings/RCA, boasting a production from Kipper who also helmed some of Sting and Chris Botti's albums. As revealed by Billboard.com, there is huge possibility that the album will include the title track and another one called "Ashes".

Aiken has begun playing Sir Robin on the Tony-award winning musical Monty Python's "Spamalot". He will conclude the Broadway play in May, in time to begin the preparation of "On My Way Here" promotion. He will embark on a Summer tour that begins in July and make several guest appearances on "The View" and "Good Morning America".
