Rumor on the block is that Jill Stuart has dropped Lindsay Lohan as the spokesmodel for her line and is replacing her with Hilary Swank.

AceShowbiz - While her recreation of the late Marilyn Monroe's final nude photo-shoot "The Last Sitting" for New York Magazine's February 25, 2008 issue has become a hit, Lindsay Lohan sad to say lost another major gig. The actress-singer has just been dropped by Jill Stuart as the spokesmodel for its line and is being replaced by Hilary Swank.

Lindsay was, in April 2007, tapped as the face of designer Jill Stuart's fall collection. She reportedly shot the ad campaign in Japan.

On her being replaced by Swank as the face of Jill Stuart's fashion line, rumor has it that Jill Stuart has dropped Lindsay to go for an "older" star following her troubled year which included her getting arrested, hospitalized and entering rehab.

A company spokesperson refused to comment on the reports, saying "Nothing's confirmed. We haven't decided what we're doing yet."

Though so, a source close to the New York designer said, "Jill wanted to go for a celebrity to make her fashion line more high profile. But after everything Lindsay has been through over the last year, she doesn't feel it would be right for her to represent the line. She thinks Hilary Swank would be the ideal choice because she is that little bit older, and incredibly well respected in the acting industry."

Meanwhile, Lindsay has reportedly been booked to replace Britney Spears as the host for the Scandinavian Style Mansion gala in Los Angeles next week. Organizer Claus Hjelmbak announced Britney was being dropped from the prestigious event following her most recent hospitalization.
