Showing some respect to his former lover Jennifer Lopez, who has just given birth to twins, P. Diddy is sending her baby clothes from his fashion line, Sean John. Commented on the singer-actress' new role as a mother, the hip hop mogul said she "is going to make a great mother."

On the red carpet at the Academy Award ceremony at the Kodak Theater, P. Diddy told People "I'm going to send her some Sean John baby clothes," added "I'm so happy for her. It's such a blessing." Commented further on Lopez's newborn twins, Diddy said "It's double the love, and it's also double the crying and the screaming, so it's a unique blessed situation. It's a rarity to have twins. She'll be all right."

Diddy and Lopez were lovers back in 1999. They split in 2001 after Diddy involved in a gun trial at Club New York, a midtown Manhattan nightclub, in December 1999.

Lopez gave birth to twins; a boy and a girl, early Friday, February 22 in Long Island, N.Y. While the girl was born at 12:12 A.M. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., the boy then followed at 12:23 A.M., weighing 6 lbs.

The babies are the first children for Lopez, 38, and the fourth for husband Marc Anthony, 39. He also has two sons and one daughter from two previous relationships. No words on the names of the newborn twins though.
