Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell are dating, it has been confirmed.

Put an end to the months of chatter and speculation, the same-sex couple have finally come out of the closet and made it official that they're dating.

"There was stuff written in the paper a while ago ... and actually Anthony and I are a bit of an item at the moment," Tim said Tuesday, February 12. "The question was asked a while ago and we weren't, but we have gotten to a point where we are very happy together."

Anthony and Tim's alleged romance was first reported early December last year when Anthony confirmed his split from longtime boyfriend Paul Riggio.

"I am officially single as of a week and a half ago," Anthony said on his Website. "You know ... s--t happens. It's onwards and upwards for me from here. I am content. I have been in a long-term relationship with my partner, Paul, who has been by my side for the past two and a half years. Together we have the love and support of our family, friends and peers. I wouldn't have been able to do this without his support."

Anthony, who's an ARIA Award winning Australian singer, was seen hanging out with "National Bingo Night" host Tim at the Botanical bar in South Yarra on December 8 and they had since then being spotted together on numbers of other occasions.
