It's another big screen role for Eva Longoria. The "Desperate Housewives" star has just been reported to land a starring slot in an elementary school comedy called "Lower Learning" for Starz Media and Ambush Entertainment.

Here the beauty, who recently adopted the last name of hubby Tony Parker behind her own, will be billed as a school inspector assigned to look into shady allegations at a school, run by an unprincipled school principal. Others submitted into the cast include Jason Biggs, Rob Corddry, Ed Helms, Kyle Gass, and Monica Potter.

Production is slated to begin later this month under the direction of Mark Lafferty who is set to perform the duty based on script penned by Shahin Chandrasoma for a theatrical release early next year. Miranda Bailey of Ambush is producing alongside Matt Leutwyler, Sim Sarna, Scott D. Greenberg, Karen Bailey, and Kent Rice of Starz.
