The high-profile cast merged with handfuls of famous figures in bringing highlight to the September 18, 2007 screening.

AceShowbiz - In the follow-up to its Venice, Deauville, Toronto, and Los Angeles screenings, a New York premiere was held for Western movie "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" on Tuesday night, September 18, 2007.

Taking place at the city's Ziegfeld Theatre, the occasion found some well-known names merrily walking the red carpet besides the presence of the cast members like Brad Pitt, Casey Affleck, Mary-Louise Parker, and Alison Elliot. The most interesting one probably was Pitt's "Ocean's Thirteen" co-star George Clooney, who brought along his new girlfriend Sarah Larson.

Others included famous singer Gloria Estefan, actress Alicia Witt, and "The Insider" co-host Lara Spencer. Pitt's partner Angelina Jolie was also there, looking stunning as always in a low cut, tight black dress.

Opens in theaters this Friday, September 21, 2007, "Jesse James" is an adaptation of Ron Hansen's 1983 novel of the same name directed by New Zealand-born Australian filmmaker Andrew Dominik. Filming ran from late August up to December 2005 using some locations in Calgary, Alberta, Canada such as McKinnon Flats, Heritage Park, the Fairmont Palliser Hotel, and Fort Edmonton Park.
