To avoid getting trampled by other bigger flicks, Jessica Simpson's "Blonde Ambition" is delayed for the second time. The movie that was originally to be released August 3 is pushed back for it "stinks".
NY Daily News reported that Jess' father slash manager Joe Simpson was the one who made the decision. An inside source said, "First, the release date was set for Aug. 3, and then it was delayed until the last week of August. Papa Joe then intervened and said he wasn't comfortable with the level of competition from other films that month."
Despite the delay, there is still no news on when the film will finally be screened. Imdb still cites the movie to be released on August 3 with post-production status already flashing since February 2007.
Some insiders said that Jess was being unprofessional while filming the flick. She was on the phone for a long time with then boyfriend John Mayer. Simpson however, showed determination when she reduced weight to slip in the "chic" role.
