As if knowing that their fans are in very eager mood to hear their new album, Ed O'Brien of Radiohead posted a personal message to inform that they almost finish the album.

On their Dead Air Space site was: "A word from the studio. Yes I know its been a while ..... but we've been working on this album for a while ...... BUT WE ARE NEARLY THERE ....." No other detail regarding the album has been revealed.

The band has been working on this seventh studio album for two years. They started spilling news on the progress in March 2007 when they reached the "Mixing It" stage. The artwork by British artist Stanley Donwood was also announced to be taking place in March while Yorke reveals a month later that a CD of material was ready for consideration.

Meanwhile, a number of their songs have been used by choreographer Stephen Petronio to accompany ballet dance piece "Ride the Beast". The songs selected are "Fitter Happier", "Hunting Bears", "Kid A's", "Idiotique", "Creep" and "The National Anthem".

Petronio said, "I have chosen the songs for Ride the Beast for various reasons: personal pleasure, their ability to propel, a desire to hit some peaks in the Radiohead's history, and ultimately their ability to shape a world I wanted to move these dancers through."
