Dave Chappelle has set a new record at Hollywood comedy club The Laugh Factory, after performing for six hours and seven minutes.

Dave Chappelle breaks the record of Dane Cook and Richard Pryor, entertained the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles for six hours and seven minutes on Sunday April 15th.

The comedian, walked out on the third season of his hit Comedy Central show May last year, hit the stage at 10:36 pm and continued cracking jokes until 4:43 am.

"He was absolutely amazing, for six hours making people laugh," the club's owner, Jamie Masada, said in a statement.

Performing in total of six hours and seven minutes, Chappelle besting the previous record of three hours and 50 minutes accomplished earlier this month by Cook and Pryor's two hours and 41 minutes back in 1980.
