If everything runs smooth, the "Sky High" star will likely be billed as a troubled seventeen-year-old wannabe kung fu warrior who is sent back in time to ancient China on an impossible mission. Jackie Chan has already been plotted to play a monk while Jet Li the Monkey King, who becomes the main target in the mission.

Shooting is scheduled to begin early May this year in China under the direction of Rob Minkoff who will helm from John Fusco's script with Casey Silver and Ryan Kavanaugh producing. Meanwhile, martial arts expert Yuen Woo-Ping will handle the action sequence as well as executive produce alongside Raffaella De Laurentiis and Lynwood Spinks.
