Poor Britney Spears. She's proven a very talented singer, and many people agree that she's one of the best singers the industry has ever had. Yet, when it comes to dog-parenting skills, Britney is the worst.

The once-famous pop singer has been named the World's Worst Dog Owner according to a three-month online poll by readers of The New York Dog and The Hollywood Dog magazines. On her, editor Hilary O'Hagan said, "Britney was the overwhelming choice. She once had three Chihuahuas and never left home without at least one of them on her arm. As soon as she met Kevin Federline and had kids they (the dogs) disappeared."

Meanwhile, Paris Hilton who was the 2005's worst winner, placed second for "treating her dogs like accessories," the magazines said. Elsewhere, Oprah Winfrey was voted this year's Best Celebrity Dog Owner, ousting last year's winner Joss Stone.
