Nick Lachey is now ready to get back to work.

AceShowbiz -

The success of his new solo album, "What's Left of Me", has become a very effective cure for Nick Lachey who has just had his divorce with Jessica Simpson finalized two weeks ago.

With the set debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard Album Chart and now having sold more than 500,000 units, Nick has on Monday July 10th, announced plans to embark on his first solo tour, kicking off Sept. 20 in Albany, New York, and will make stops in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

More on the planned-trek, according to Jive Records it will hit 26 cities in North America during which the singer will play smaller theaters to keep the performances intimate and, presumably, the throngs of teenage girls satisfied.

Nick's first single from his album, the title track "What's Left Of Me," peaked at No. 5 on the singles charts, where it has remained in the Top 20 since its debut. A second single, "I Can't Hate You Anymore," will hit the airwaves July 24.
