AceShowbiz - In an e-mail sent to the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday May 23rd 2006, Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt wrote "With the imminent arrival of the newest addition to our family, I am unable to join Alejandro, Cate, Gael and the rest of the cast and crew in introducing the film," the actor said referring to his new film, "Babel".
"I am tremendously proud of `Babel' and want to congratulate everyone involved for this great achievement," Pitt added. Henri Behar, who moderates Cannes' news conferences, read the message from the actor who's been in Namibia with Angelina Jolie, awaiting the birth of their first child together.
