Britney Spears is in negotiations to hold down a long-term residency at a casino resort in Las Vegas

AceShowbiz - Las Vegas really is a historical city for pop diva Britney Spears. She's been married there and just now the "Toxic" singer reportedly will have her own show there.
As said by Jack Wishna, the dealmaker at the center of the potential engagement, "I met with Britney, her manager and her lawyers, and we are working on a deal to bring her to the Strip for 'X'-number of weeks in 2007-2008." Speaking further, Wishna claims a contract is in the works.
The name of the casino interested in signing up Spears hasn't been revealed, but Wishna makes sure he is working with a "major Strip property," saying "This particular property is looking for a big name that will take them to the next level in terms of entertainment, and Britney would certainly do that for them."
