Rap mogul Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs has unveiled his new stage name - he wants to be called just Diddy.

AceShowbiz - Name means a thing for the like of the formerly known as Sean Combs. Approvingly, after changing his name from Puff Daddy and Puffy, P. Diddy announced his new stage moniker on Tuesday's Today Show. Now, he wants to be called just 'Diddy.'
Speaking on his reason, 'Diddy' simply explained that his previous name change left his fans uncertain of how to address him. "I felt like the 'P' was getting between me and my fans and now we're closer. During concerts, half the crowd is saying 'P. Diddy'--half the crowd is chanting 'Diddy'--now everybody can just chant 'Diddy.' " Okay, we get it 'Diddy.'
