Inspired by the 2004 animated film "Tropic Island Hum," on which he teamed up with animator Geoff Dunbar, singer Paul McCartney is eyeing younger generation as his next target market in relation with his new project. For that reason the former Beatle has signed on to write a children's book titled "High in the Clouds: An Urban Furry Tale."

The book, to be published by Penguin Young Readers Group, will focus its story around the adventures of two squirrels and a frog, who work together to save a number of animals. Working on the book, McCartney will team up with Geoff Dunbar and veteran children's author Philip Ardagh. The picture book is slated to be released this October with a first print of 500,000 copies.
