Prior to Eminem and 50 cent tour in Detroit, there will be Bruce Springsteen to hold his solo summer tour. The singer will perform by himself when he begins a series of live shows in support of his upcoming "Devils & Dust" album, with the first performance slated for April 25 in the city, a day before the album comes out.

The tour which will end through the end of June, will include a series of dates across the United States and Europe, after which additional domestic shows will be scheduled. In the United States, Springsteen will also play in Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Oakland, Denver, St. Paul, Minn., Chicago, Fairfax, Va., Cleveland, Philadelphia, East Rutherford, N.J., and Boston.

The European dates begin in Dublin on May 24, and continue through a show in Stockholm on June 25. All the shows will be held in theaters or arenas scaled down to a theater format.
