U2 frontman Bono admits he's "flattered" but ultimately not interested in becoming the next World Bank leader

AceShowbiz - U2 frontman, Bono has commented on media speculation on the possibility of his becoming the next World Bank leader, following U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow, who's compiling a short list of World Bank next leader candidates, comment on him. A representative of his says the Irish born singer is truly flattered, yet not interested in becoming the next World Bank leader.

Jamie Drummond, head of DATA (Debt, Aids, Trade, Africa), the lobby group cofounded by Bono, claims "there are no circumstances in which Bono would be nominated or accept the World Bank job," because he still loves his music career anyway.
