Cooper's son, Jesse, died of cerebral palsy

January 5th, 2005 has become a mourning day for Chris Cooper and his wife, Marianne Leone. Since that day when the couple were in pre-production on Conquistadora, a film written by Leone about the brain disorder, their lovely son, Jesse (17) passed away.
As most people had known that Cooper and his wife had been trying hard to give the best for Jesse who suffered from cerebral palsy, and they even moved to Boston area of Massachusetts they believed as a place where they could get a better physical and mental treatment for Jesse whose condition was so severe.
However, both Cooper and Leonne had to face the reality that God has a better plan either for Jesse or Cooper and Leone.
