I understand though that they're really good actors and should play the role's though. I hope to meet Logan lerman one day. I want to audition for the parts like silena,Thalia, and the girl on the island I don't remember the name of. Hopefully I find out when/where the auditions are and get to auditions:) fingers crossed. Apr 07, 2010I gotta say, the movie wasnt exactly accurate to the book but it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time!!!! The director chose like the best actors EVER for this movie!!! And some of you people are saying that grover isnt supposed to be black but whi cares??? Brandon T. Jackson is sooo funny! He's great in the movie. Also Logan and Alexandra and Jake and everyone else are awesome too! It was a great movie!!!!!! I REALLY hope they make a movie for all of the Percy Jackson books!!!! Also, the reason they are older in the movie then they are in the book is because it would be kind of like 12 year olds acting more like adults. Because they're older in the movie, there's more action!!!!

Mar 30, 2010the movie was terrible! the characters are supposed to be 12 not 23! grover is not black!(but hes was my favorite character anyway:)and annabeth! dont even get me started on her! ewwww! i love her in the book but in the movie? they also left important scenes out and put in ones that werent even in the book! like the gigantic 12 headed monster, where did that come from? and what happen to the arch when percy jumps?! and what is up with Luke? did he die? and that trident percy had? and..you know what? never mind, theres to much. to sum this all up the movie was TERRIBLE!(i was tempted to scream & throw my popcorn at the movie screen, but i wanted to eat it:)

Feb 20, 2010I started hyperventilating in the middle of this movie and my two best friends got really irratated. I just can't help it! Percy is soooooo HOT! I read all the books in less than a month and completely fell in love with the series. The movie wasn't 100% accurate but I loved it! Just one question...where was Mr.D? (Dionysus)and where was Clarrise? And Ares? It would of been so awesome if they had included that fight scene at the end of book 1 in the movie!But i still LOVED the movie! Sigh...

But sadly he only wrote the first one, so far. All of the other ones are equally as good!! I can't wait to finish the Percy Jackson sreies and get the sixth 39 Clues book! Jun 24, 2009I LOVE the Percy Books! he is totally awesome, I cant wait for the next series to come out, BUT the sad part is that Rick said percy and annabeth, and all the main characters we all know and love will no longer be the main characters, which upsets me a little i love percy soooo much it will be a tough adjustment to the new main characters, but on the bright side percy and the gang WILL be in the books, BUT NOT the main characters, but oh well still cant wait!! :) cant wait for the movies either, logan lerman will be a PERFECT percy, and the eye colors better be right, or i will EXPLODE!!!! :)

If Chris Columbus reads this, please take into consideration that if you choose 20 year olds to play 12 year olds and change the age to 17 (I've hear rumors) people will hate the movie. I put a 1 because I believe that a messed up movie for a book millions of people love is horrible. It's something I hate, and something that everyone I know hates. I love the books, I'm PERCY JACKSON OBSESSED, but I think the movie will be really bad, suckish in other words with this cast.

Mar 12, 2009i would actuallly give this book a trillion stars but you cant go that high. this book is AWESOME! its evn beating harry potter on the new york times best selling list. percy jackson is # 1 then harry potter is # 2 on the list then pendragon is #3 and twilight #4. i also like pendragon more than HP. PERCY JACKSON is AWESOME. it is waaaaaaaay bettter than HP. it is faster paced and has more action. it has twists surprises suspense action humor greeek mythology all rolled in to one series. its great. this series will go farther than HP and still be remembered ten years from now.

The Fourth book would have been my favorite book in the series if Annabeth didn't just leave Percy standing there, right before he left camp half-blood. That made me ANGRY!!!! Anyway... Sep 20, 2008Also Everybodys begging Riordan to write a 6th book and stuff but I say don't. Just like warriors he'd end up stretching it so far the same thing would happen over and over. Pull a Rowling and do an epalouge devoted to like 15 years in the future or something. Don't write a sixth book. In my opinion over time you'd lose fans. Also Annabeth/Percy kids wouldn't go to camp halfblood because technicly they are still half-bloods but camp half-blood is devoted to the CHILDREN of the gods not the GRANDchildren.

Sep 20, 2008I'm like ticked. Dude read the first rough draph (IDK SP) on book five. He just can't make annabeth go bad she's my fav. character. Seriously. The movie will be good but like HP & Twilight & Eragon it won't be half as good as the book. I hope they randomly select people to play the cast. I think it would be cool to be casted as Artemis. I'm right for everything, except the eyes. Do like they did for Twilight and go randomly searching for cast members throughout the states or where ever your filming it.

Jul 04, 2008annasophia robb would make a great Annabeth, but if Josh Hutcherson plays Percy, well, both of them did Brdge to Terebithia, so that mite be a prblem, but i have trouble thinking of anyone else to play either parts.
