The Bargain
In the taut 15-minute thriller The Bargain, directed by Alec Patchin, a desperate man finds himself at a moral crossroa...
After nearly a decade of patrolling the corridors of the West Orange Pavilion, security guard Kevin James returns as the lovable, Segway-riding Paul Blart in this family-friendly comedy. Now a widower, Blart has become overprotective of his daughter Maya, played by Raini Rodriguez, who is heading off to college. To spend more time with her before she leaves, he accompanies her to a security guard convention in Las Vegas, where he hopes to bond with her and prove he can let go. However, when a crew of sophisticated art thieves, led by the cunning Neal McDonough and his right-hand woman Daniella Alonso, targets the luxurious hotel where the convention is held, Blart must once again rise to the occasion. With his signature blend of bumbling determination and unexpected resourcefulness, he finds himself the only line of defense against the high-tech heist. Directed by Andy Fickman, this sequel delivers a predictable but heartwarming mix of slapstick humor and father-daughter sentiment, as Blart proves that even the most unlikely hero can protect what matters most.
