In the shadowy aftermath of World War II, one of history's most notorious war criminals lives a quiet, anonymous life in Argentina. "Operation Finale" chronicles the gripping true story of the daring 1960 mission to capture Adolf Eichmann, the architect of the Holocaust. Led by the determined Israeli Mossad agent Peter Malkin, played with intense focus by Oscar Isaac, a clandestine team risks everything to infiltrate Buenos Aires, apprehend Eichmann, and smuggle him to Jerusalem to stand trial. The operation becomes a tense psychological battle as Malkin is forced to engage with the chillingly calm and manipulative Eichmann, portrayed by Ben Kingsley, who refuses to admit his identity or his guilt. This historical drama, directed by Chris Weitz, builds a palpable atmosphere of suspense and moral complexity, exploring the profound personal cost of confronting pure evil and the fragile hope for justice that drives these ordinary people to undertake an extraordinary and perilous mission.
