In the hands of director Matthew Luke Tucci, who co-wrote the script with Louis Rocky Bacigalupo, Cursed Hearse takes audiences on a riotous and supernatural road trip. The film follows a down-on-his-luck rideshare driver who accidentally purchases a vintage hearse at auction, only to discover it comes with a permanent and very grumpy passenger: the ghost of its former owner. This mismatched duo is forced into an uneasy partnership when a ruthless collector, who knows the vehicle’s dark secret, decides he wants it back at any cost. Blending macabre humor with a buddy-comedy heart, the story races through a series of increasingly chaotic misadventures as the living and the dead must learn to work together to outrun their pursuers and perhaps find a way to break the curse.
