Melanie Janine Brown, universally known as Mel B, was born on 29 May 1975 and stands as one of the most recognizable figures in global pop culture. She first captured the world's attention in the mid-1990s as Scary Spice, the bold and outspoken member of the Spice Girls, a group that would go on to shatter records and become the best-selling female act of all time with over 100 million records sold.
