Megadeth is an acclaimed American heavy metal band that emerged from Los Angeles in 1983, founded by the talented vocalist and guitarist Dave Mustaine. Renowned for their complex guitar work and musicianship, Megadeth holds a prestigious position as one of the "big four" of American thrash metal, alongside other legendary bands such as Slayer, Anthrax, and Metallica. After settling, Ellefson rejoined the band in 2010 but was dismissed again in 2021 amidst allegations of sexual misconduct. As of now, Megadeth's lineup includes Mustaine, bassist James LoMenzo, guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari, and drummer Dirk Verbeuren.
