You know how children sometimes have to find a new home for their folks later in life? Well, Anna found a cozy spot for her mother, Diana (guest star Jane Badler), deep in the bowels of her ship. This mama V has been stuck alone down there for 15 years thanks to her daughter. V kids today! They never call… They never write…

Diana's been wrestling with human emotions since she came to the planet after the first atomic bomb. It shined across the universe like a brilliant flare. She saw this place as a potential home for their species. Diana believes human emotion makes interbreeding impossible. Her daughter begs to differ. Anna is infertile, so only Lisa can lay eggs. The next viable planet for this process is too far away, so it's Earth or nothing.

Anna gives Ryan's lizard kid human skin to help prey on daddy's emotions. When a child is crying and hungry, the only thing you can really say is… RATS! Seriously, the baby's hungry for rats. So, Anna swallows down a big, hairy, white one and then regurgitates it into the child's mouth. It's cheaper than baby formula and serves a unique bonding tool. Anna later gives Ryan's daughter an illness. She'll heal her only if Ryan rejoins her team. This anguished father, who has been asking Father Jack if he possibly has a soul, reluctantly agrees.

Erica wonders if the Visitors experimented on her while she was pregnant. She swipes a blood sample from Tyler so Sid can do some tests. Lisa lets Erica know that Joshua is alive with some severe amnesia that's erased all his Fifth Column loyalties. Bummer.

During confession, Father Jack encourages a conflicted man to fight the Visitors. Over at a V Healing Center, Marcus wants Chad Decker to interview Eileen, a pregnant woman who will be the first to have her baby using V technology. Chad gives this mom-to-be some doubts about the Visitors. Later, the man who confessed to Father Jack stands wired with explosives in front of the center. BOOM! The massive blast that rocks the area is just one of 29 suicide bombings across the globe. There are many human fatalities.

Agent Malik slides Marcus a piece of the weapon so he can hunt down the terrorist's allies. Another bomb will detonate in two hours. A guilt-ridden Jack recognizes a picture of the bomber and steers Erica to the guy's apartment. While there, Hobbes swipes a paperback copy of "The Art of War" with some kind of note between the pages. Hobbes also finds clues which gives them a possible identity of the radicals and leads them to the next suicide bombing target: Chad Decker.

Chad's always been the mouthpiece for the Visitors, so it makes sense that he'd be next on the hit list. Erica thwarts the assassination attempt and manages to let the suicide bomber know that she, too, is Fifth Column. Erica and Marcus both realize this radical faction's headquarters is at a place called Five Brothers Textiles, which is run by an Israeli dissent named Eli Cohn.

Agent Malik is sent to Cohn's place by the Visitors while Hobbes and Erica investigate for the Resistance. When Hobbes decks Malik in the dark warehouse, he knocks a tooth loose. It's a long, sharp serpent-like fang the spills blood on the floor as Malik yanks it out. Think Visitors believe in the tooth fairy?

Chad Decker uncovers video footage of Malik interacting with Marcus. He tells Father Jack that Erica is in danger. He's right. Kendrick orders both Erica and Malik to take a drive to a farm in Ossining to follow a lead. Both are suspicious of each other during the long drive. When Malik draws her gun, Erica swerves. CRASH! The car flips violently. Both ladies hang upside down and unconscious. Well, both "were" unconscious. Malik awakens with a look that suggests she's one, angry lizard. Uh oh.

Anna's not playing games with her mother. She'll shove an immolation pill down Diana's throat unless she spills the beans on how to quash human emotion. All Diana wants first is to listen to some beautiful music that moved her inside. Anna now knows that in order to destroy human emotion, she must crush the human soul. Piece of cake if you're a Cubs fan. But how will Anna destroy the souls of ALL humanity. Diana says she's running out of time. Tick tock, tick tock.
