Betty still looking for someone to sublet her apartment but is taking her time moving back home. She and Amanda interview a series of prospects, but Betty has a problem with all of them. Amanda urges her to go talk to Jesse before she moves out, so Betty tells Jesse she's moving and he insists they have a farewell drink.

After a few bottles of wine, Betty admits that the night of the roof party was an awkward one for her. Jesse says, "We totally share a brain! I have a song called 'Awkward Night,'" and plays it for her. Then he kisses Betty before he leaves.

She asks for Amanda's help in interpreting what happened and Amanda insists on recreating the scene with Marc as Betty and herself as Jesse. They kiss -- for a surprisingly long time -- and tell her Jesse probably likes her. Or he was just drunk. Daniel advises her to ask Jesse what it meant.

That night, she knocks on his door when she hears him playing music. She knocks and the music stops, but he doesn't answer the door.

Ignacio tells his new nurse, Elena, that everyone babies too him much and there won't be anything for her to do. Elena, however, forces him to take walks, and to eat healthier. Ignacio tells her that she's going to the one giving him a heart attack -- not the food he's eating. She chews him out, saying he needs to stay alive for his family. "You almost died. What if next time you're not so lucky?"

Daniel tells Holly that Connor has started seeing Wilhelmina. She says she's okay with it and hopes they'll be happy. She thinks it's time that they tell Connor about the two of them.

Connor is spending a romantic evening with Wilhelmina, but is preoccupied with finding out who Molly is gazing at so lovingly in the photo in the newspaper, distracted over the Molly breakup. He shows Daniel the photo of Molly holding an unseen man's hand. "If she was seeing somebody before we broke up, that would royally piss me off," he says. Daniel says nothing, but agrees to go with Connor in what ends up being a stakeout on Molly's building.

Meanwhile, Willy follows Connor to figure out what he's doing instead of having dinner with her.

Betty panics when she realizes she's forgotten to send flowers to Molly from Daniel. It's too late to order a delivery, so she takes them herself. Daniel sees Betty arriving with the flowers and Daniel sends Connor to go get coffee so he can send Betty away.

Connor finds Daniel with the flowers and grabs the card, which Betty signed "RJ" -- for "Rich Jerk," Molly's nickname for Daniel.

Wilhelmina can't make any sense of it, not until she sees Molly returning home. The next day, she tells Connor that she knows he's still hung up on Molly. "I want you. All of you or nothing. Wilhelmina Slater doesn't play second fiddle to anyone. And I don't bet," she says, and breaks it off with him.

Betty asks Daniel why he doesn't just tell Connor that he's the one seeing Molly. And she tells him about Jesse's diss and that she doesn't want to move back home if there's unfinished business. She admits that she had a fantasy about being a city girl in love with a cute guy. Daniel encourages her to stalk Jesse to hash things out. Betty confronts Jesse when he's playing at a local cafe and he admits that he has fun hanging out with her, but the kiss confused everything. He asks her out on a date to make up for being a jerk and she agrees.

Over dinner, Jesse tells her about his week, but the conversation ends up being all about him. Betty imagines him singing a song, "Me, me, me, not you, just me." As she has this realization, he says, "You're really good for me. You made me feel a lot better." She tells him that this really was about making him feel better, not her, tells him this isn't what either of them want.

Daniel resolves to tell Connor the truth about Molly. In the boxing ring, Connor quizzes him about where he went on vacation, and who he's seeing now. After several hard blows from Connor, Daniel asks for a break. He takes off his boxing helmet and Connor decks him. "How's that feel, Rich Jerk?" he demands, saying it wasn't hard to put the pieces together.

As Betty ices Daniel's eye, she says she's okay with moving back home today.

Connor stops by Daniel's office to ask if they're still on for tonight's budget meeting. He turns down Daniel's offer to talk things over and says, "I said everything I have to say."

Connor goes to Wilhelmina and admits that he hated the idea of losing Molly to another man. "But the thought of losing you is unbearable. I'm still yours, if you still want me." He offers to beg and she says, "Well, maybe tonight, after dinner."

Elena arrives early, telling Hilda she doesn't think her father wants her there, but Ignacio apologizes for being a "sourpuss" and invites her to join him in a low-fat, no-salt breakfast.

Betty tells Amanda she's found a new roommate: Marc! As Amanda and Marc plan how they're going to make over the apartment, Betty says goodbye, for now, to the city.
