When the murder of six residents at a shelter for battered women unleashes an intensive investigation, prostitute Dorea Pinchuk is identified as the only occupant who wasn't found dead. Following up on a lead from Connie, Vic tracks down the missing hooker's pimp, only to find that he hasn't seen her for days. And after Dutch and Claudette learn that the child of one of the dead women is missing, too, and may have been kidnapped, a record of arrests for soliciting prostitutes leads them to suspect the little boy's father, firefighter Mike Holden, is the killer. Meanwhile, already forced to apologize for retaliating against Yassirah Al-Thani's campaign to avenge her husband's shooting death, Danny then learns that the grieving widow is out to see that she loses her job, too.
