When the discovery of a murdered teenage prostitute confirms his theory about a serial killer being on the loose, Dutch persuades Aceveda to assign virtually the entire precinct to the case. However, while Dutch calls in FBI Agent Jim Wright for help, Vic makes it clear that he will participate on his own terms - or not at all. After tracking down the Korean gang that protected the dead girl, Vic is led to a private sex club whose owner sells sexually explicit videotapes starring pre-teenage girls. Meanwhile, despite Aceveda's warnings, Julien is determined to see that Vic and his men are punished for stealing evidence in a drug case. As Dutch's investigation proceeds, tipster Tom Ross provides information that leads to an arrest. Though Steve denies having anything to do with Sally's murder, the circumstantial evidence casts doubt on his already weak alibi. However, the case is dealt a serious blow when it's found that Ross' tip was a practical joke. After busting Mrs. Park's sex club, Vic brings in one her teenage porn stars, Sun-Lee, for safekeeping. With Mrs. Park and Sun-Lee cooperating, he arrests the man responsible for making the pornographic tapes. And, as Aceveda's assistant tips him off to the investigation, Vic asks Danny to rein in Julien. When down-on-her-luck prostitute Connie Reisler kills a john she feared was about to attack her, she asks Vic to make it look like self-defense. And after helping Connie come up with a story that will keep her from being charged with murder, Vic sends a disappointed Sun-Lee back to Korea. Finally, after learning why Julien is meeting with Internal Affairs, Danny confronts Vic about the theft of the cocaine.
