Christy hits a rough patch when her car breaks down and she can't scrounge up the money to cover the cost of repairs. However, when she meets Regina, a woman in even more dire financial straights, at an AA meeting, Christy tries to be altruistic and help her. Christy and Bonnie eventually learn that Regina has embezzled millions of dollars, is addicted to painkillers and alcohol, and generally has hit rock bottom, but their small act of kindness helps Regina keep going. Later, Christy's financial fortunes take a turn for the better after Baxter strikes it rich selling black market Viagra from Mexico.
