Feeling confident about her recent choices, Molly begins to offer her wisdom to others, encouraging Samuel to pursue stand-up and Harry to challenge his overbearing mother. Mike grows frustrated with Molly's meddling when Samuel becomes disillusioned with his job at Abe's and Harry winds up homeless and on Mike's couch. Ultimately, Mike has a change of heart and offers Samuel a pep talk to get him on stage at an open mic. Molly is proud of Mike for supporting Samuel, and even prouder when he takes a leap and gets up on stage himself.
