After Molly discovers some of Joyce's old sketches, she is convinced that her Mom gave up her dream of being an artist to raise her and her sister. Molly wants to make sure that she and Mike live their life to the fullest before having kids so that they don't resent their kids from keeping them from pursuing their passions. Feeling guilty, Molly tries to convince her Mom to enroll in an art class at the local college, but Vince thinks it's ridiculous because she's too old. Joyce decides to enroll to spite Vince. Meanwhile, Mike is in denial about needing glasses.
