Carl has been burning the candle at both ends and while at Abe’s one day he admits to Mike he wishes he had what Mike has found with Molly. Mike suggests he get to know a lady customer at Abe’s that they’ve seen in there a bit. But when Carl goes to her place of business (she is an optometrist) he is shot down. We learn that Carl doesn’t think he is good enough for a nice girl and Grandma gives Carl a pep talk. At the end of the episode, Carl and this lady make a connection. Meanwhile, Molly has been working late hours and comes home exhausted. Mike visits her at school with romantic gestures to keep their romance alive.
