News of Roosevelt's Science Advisor Vannevar Bush's visit to the hill quickly spreads. Frank sees this as an opportunity and pushes Helen to convince the scientists to demand a seat at the decision making table for the bomb. Currently, there's not a scientist on the committee and Frank thinks this is a massive mistake. Helen is worried about losing her new promotion from Charlie. She's back in the G_Group. Frank sends around a petition and Charlie complains to Darrow. Charlie sends Frank to the desert not to return until Vannevar Bush has left. Charlie allows Fritz to find a scientist to research the impact radiation has on humans. Fritz asks Liza but she needs permission from Darrow. Darrow caves and gives her clearance. Abby overhears Crosley on the switchboards. She's suspicious and reports it to Darrow. Darrow and Abby start to connect on a religious level. Occam's car is found with his body in the trunk. Frank sees the ghost of Occam and realizes Darrow is using the petition as a blacklist. Franks overdoes on his radiation levels and has to go back to the base. There he explains to the scientists what's happening and stages a walkout. All the scientists follow Frank outside as Vannevar Bush is arriving. Before Darrow can say anything, he receives word that Roosevelt passed away.
