Goren and Eames are called in to investigate when the bodies of twin ivy-league young lions Parker and Thomas Gaffney are found in the offices of Kizmate, a wildly successful internet dating site. Publicly, Kizmate made millions by trading on the real-life romance of founders Danielle and PJ. But privately, the Gaffneys accused Danielle of stealing the idea for the site from them, and had initiated a multi-million dollar lawsuit that would cripple the company - a motive for murder if there ever was one.
Problem is, the Gaffneys didn't seem to have any hard proof to substantiate their claims. Which means that Danielle, PJ, and their hard-partying business partner Rex Tamlyn had no real reason to kill the young blue bloods...unless the murders weren't spurred by the lawsuit. As Goren and Eames dig deeper into the world of Kizmate, they find the complications that arise from mixing love and business, and they soon learn that money isn't the only thing worth killing for.
Meanwhile, Goren attends his final department ordered therapy session and is faced with some hard decisions about his own destiny.
