Mike is in charge of security for a local weatherman's newscast inside the Montecito. Mike asks him a ton of meteorological questions but the weatherman is just a stand up comic ' his meteorology assistant, on the other hand, is a very cute girl.

Ed dines with a man from the gaming commission and Sam wants to distract them with a hot waitress who can listen in on them. She thinks it will affect her bottom line if they're talking about Casey.

The gaming commissioner says there's a problem with the gaming license. There appear to be accounting irregularities involving the night the old Montecito was imploded. There's a discrepancy of almost $3 million that went missing that night. He says the problem is with Ed and the Montecito team ' if Casey wants his gaming license, Ed and everyone else has to leave.

The weatherman passes out when he has an allergic reaction to the casino's buffet. Mike fills in for him and is a total natural. He also gets a date with the cute girl.

Ed and Danny interview the accounting department and they find out that Monica may have used the demolition to hide the money.

Danny visits the gaming commission to try and find video footage from the night of the demolition. They tell him that they've outsourced all the archives to India and it will take 12 hours to get them.

Ed takes Danny and his drill sergeant to a local bar. He tells Ed that he left the Corps. because he took a shot in the side during a training exercise. Danny hits on a random guy's girlfriend and the three of them get in a bar fight ' for fun.

The local news producer comes to the Montecito and tells Mike that he got great reviews from viewers. They offer him the weekend weather job.

Ed interviews a pit boss, Robby, and finds out that on the demolition night, a high roller lost nearly $5 million. They had to separate the money and placed it in two boxes.

The video footage from India arrives and they notice a random guard switching out the boxes. It's Monica ' she stole the $3 million. They don't know why she would steal it, but Ed says she wasn't a thief. He doesn't believe for a minute that she stole the money and continues to investigate.

At the gaming license hearing, Ed's team reveals that Monica stole the money, so the gaming commission gives Casey his license. Ed and Danny also get to stay on as full-time staff. Ed wants to investigate further because the casino is still out $3 million.

Danny and Mike watch thousands of hours of footage of Monica in the casino. They come upon footage of Ed making out with Monica. Danny thinks that's why he's been defending her. They delete the footage because they don't want to think about the two of them together. Ed walks in and wants them to run the theft footage again. Ed says that the video showing Monica stealing the dough isn't really Monica.

Ed thinks someone superimposed Monica's face onto the video. They think the gaming commissioner may be in on it and used the 12-hour window to doctor the footage. They find out that it was actually the tape vault librarian who doctored the footage, along with Robby, the high roller pit boss. Problem solved and money returned.
