Ilsa and Chance argue as her plane takes off. She snaps that she'll have no trouble replacing him. But Winston's staying. He signed a contract. What?

Hector Lopez fires his missile, and the plane goes down. Chance straps into the copilot seat and tells Ilsa to strap in too. CRASH!

At HQ, Winston and Guerrero are bickering so much that Ames flees to the roof to write up the job report. Then Chance's private-detective pal Harry arrives. He's trouble. But he needs help. He's run afoul of an Armenian mobster, who's sent a dozen thugs after him. And now they're outside.

Chance wakes up. The pilot's dead, the plane's on fire and leaking fuel, but Ilsa's OK. Chance un-jams the hatch - by wedging an oxygen tank into it and shooting the tank. WHOOM! Ilsa hurts her arm scrambling out. They get clear just as the plane explodes. Chance says that they need to find transport. But Ilsa's high heels aren't made for walking. She flings them away.

At HQ, Winston takes charge. Loudly. Guerrero tells Harry that Winston's mood is about Bangkok. Huh? Anyway, Ames is sunbathing with her earbuds in and doesn't hear Winston's calls. The thugs get into the freight elevator, as Winston and Guerrero blame each other for not locking it down. Guerrero solders the elevator doors shut.

Chance snarks that Ilsa's major survival instinct is to marry a willing billionaire. Harsh. Ilsa spots a cabin, a former drug runner's lair. Meanwhile, Hector discovers Ilsa's shoes. Chance finds a radio and thinks he can fix the receiver so they can figure out their location. Ilsa finds a first aid kit - and a corpse. Chance takes its knife.

Outside the cabin, Chance stares as Ilsa dresses her wound. Where'd she get those 9mm slug scars on her back? I have no idea, she snarks. I'm just a trophy wife whose only survival instinct was to marry a billionaire. Chance suddenly dives on Ilsa as Hector opens fire.

Winston reluctantly tells Harry that, during this Bangkok job a few years back, he and Guerrero were captured and thrown in the back of a car. Somehow, Guerrero got free, took out the driver, and saved them. Now, whenever they're not working with Chance, Guerrero just acts so superior. Later, Guerrero tells Harry a different version of the story. But right now, the thugs are cutting through the elevator doors. Fall back!

Ilsa asks if it's really Hector out there. Yep. After all, Chance killed his brother. But he won't make his move till dark. Chance freaks when Ilsa casually flicks a spider off her shoulder. That's a banana spider! One bite kills you. And they're everywhere. Chance fixes the receiver but needs to boost the signal on the roof antenna. He hands Ilsa his gun. But when Hector bursts in, Ilsa can't shoot him. Chance attacks, and Hector throws drug-refining chemicals into his eyes. Chance can't see! Ilsa whacks Hector, then leads Chance out.

She apologizes for not shooting Hector. Chance assumes she's never killed anyone. Under the circumstances, she says, she could hardly be blamed for it. He explains that when you take a life, a part of you is gone. And the first time? She never wants that experience. Hector catches up. Soon he's dangling over a cliff in Ilsa's grip. He aims his gun at Chance, below him. Chance stabs Hector's leg, and Hector's hand slips. He pulls off Ilsa's bracelet as he falls.

The guys barricade themselves in a storeroom. Ames finally calls. Meanwhile, the thugs send gas flowing into the storeroom vents. Fed up, Harry asks who saved them in Bangkok. Winston and Guerrero point at each other: "He did." They realize it was actually Chance. Ames shuts off the gas.

In a hired car outside Ilsa's place, Chance again asks about her scars. She says she grew up in Belfast. Lots of shooting, not great for a child walking to school. Afterward, she was sent to London, where she worked hard to make something of herself. Chance says sorry about the trophy-wife comment. That's OK . . . partner.

Guerrero fashions a bomb from a water-cooler bottle filled with gas. The thugs go boom, except one gets the drop on them. Blam! Chance saves them - again. He sees Harry. Oh. That explains everything.

Ilsa's in her robe at home. She spots a bracelet on the kitchen counter - the one Hector pulled off. He's behind her! And he wants Chance.

Meanwhile, Winston insists he didn't sign Ilsa's contract. Ilsa played Chance! Dude, says Guerrero, you're really bad at reading chicks. Seriously. Ilsa phones Chance and says that Hector's at her place. Chance runs out. "You said you wanted him here," Ilsa defiantly tells Hector. "That's exactly what you're gonna get."

Hector smirks . . . and punches her. As Chance speeds through the rainy night, Hector slams Ilsa into the counter, the oven. She clocks him with an appliance. Stopped in traffic, Chance abandons his car and runs. Hector holds down Ilsa and pulls out his gun. She head-butts him, and the gun goes flying. They both grab at it. Chance pelts into Ilsa's building. Hector's on top of Ilsa. A gunshot echoes through the room. Chance bursts in. The two figures are motionless, frozen. Hector stands, turns . . . and slumps dead to the floor.

Ilsa, cradling the gun, slowly sits up. She's in shock. She turns her beaten face toward Chance. "Ilsa?" He gently takes the gun. Her eyes never leave his face. He pulls her into a comforting embrace.
