Why is Ames stealing explosives in the middle of the night with some guy? And who's the mysterious motorcyclist following them?

The guy is Brody Rivera, a shady demolitions expert Ames has known since childhood. He's practically her brother. He needed the explosives, and she thinks she owes him. He did four years in prison for a robbery they committed and didn't rat her out.

The biker is Chance, who got suspicious when Ames stole some of Guerrero's tools. Now she's busted! Winston reads her the riot act. Ames apologizes and explains about Brody. Chance makes Ames confess to Ilsa, who seems understanding, then says if it happens again, Ames is done. Understood.

Brody delivers the explosives to Mr. Markus at a dockside warehouse where Markus' associate, Yuri, is beating up a man in a small room. Markus has another job for Brody and Ames tonight - a big one.

Ames meets Brody but says she doesn't want to do this stuff anymore. Nearby, Chance, Winston, and Guerrero spy on them, to see if she's worth saving.

Markus and Yuri drive up, and Guerrero IDs Markus as a BAD guy. Ames is in serious trouble. Markus asks her waist measurement. What? They need someone slimmer than 27 inches, who can knock out a laser security system in less than 15 seconds. Can she? Yes. Chance is bummed, but Guerrero says that she didn't have much choice.

Markus gives his gang code names. Ames is London. Brody's Dallas. Boise and Memphis are at the warehouse. And Chicago's coming in from Vegas. Ames phones Chance. She has a new client: herself.

Chance joins the gang, pretending to be Chicago. Ames says thanks, and Brody doesn't know Chance is with her. Yuri explains the plan: Steal three massive diamonds, the Three Sisters of Antwerp, from the San Francisco Metropolitan Museum. If they all do their jobs, no problem. If only Chance knew what his job WAS.

At HQ, Winston radios Chance that he's still waiting for Guerrero, who intercepted Chicago at the train station. Ilsa notices Winston's research on the diamonds. Winston confesses that Ames is part of this heist, and Ilsa wants to call the cops. No, they have to see it through and catch the guy behind it, or Ames is dead.

Ilsa calms down . . . until Guerrero arrives with Chicago tied up, asking Winston to grab his battery and a bucket of water. Shocked, Ilsa asks if he's torturing that man. Well, he defends, not yet. Ilsa is no longer calm.

While they argue, Chicago gets loose! Fists fly, glass shatters, and furniture smashes. Finally, Ilsa belts Chicago with his own briefcase, which breaks open. Inside is a gun with a silencer, no serial number. Guerrero guesses this guy's the cleaner. Ilsa asks, what's a cleaner?

A cleaner kills people when they become expendable. Chance figures out that's his job when Yuri takes him to the room we saw earlier. The battered guy inside is the plan's mastermind, whom they no longer need. So, says Yuri, kill him. Now. Chance strangles him. Yuri tells Chance he'll eventually do the others. Except, Yuri will take care of the girl. He leaves, and Chance yanks open the dead guy's shirt, douses him with water, rips a lightbulb off its cord, and shocks him back to life.

The men force their way into the museum. Chance reports that Yuri kept Ames in the gang's van with him. The real Chicago overhears and tells Guerrero that Yuri's a cleaner. Markus hired two of them for one job. Dirty.

Yuri shows Ames a tiny grate covering the ventilation shaft. "Strip down, oil up," he says, handing her a bottle.

While Ames slithers through the vents in her undies, Chance takes out Boise, then joins Brody and Memphis. Ames, now dressed, kills the lasers. Yuri drives into the garage below. Brody creates an explosion that blows the diamond display straight down to Yuri. Then Chance smacks Memphis, and Brody freaks, thinking he's going to kill them. Before Yuri can shoot them, Chance attacks.

Ames explains that Chance is with her. But Brody's not giving back the diamonds! While battling Chance, Yuri falls on a piece of rebar and dies. Brody splits with the van . . . but Ames lifted the diamonds off him.

At HQ, Chance argues that he trusts Ames. Ilsa says it's not his call. Really? He thought they were partners. Meanwhile, Markus phones Ames: Come to the train station with the diamonds, or Brody dies. Ames begs Ilsa, who lets them take the gems.

Markus gets the diamonds, but Winston and Guerrero catch him. The real Chicago drives away with Markus in the company van. Meanwhile, Brody's on a bench outside, sitting on a bomb that will detonate if he moves.

Chance takes a flying leap - and tackles Brody off the bench, clear of the resulting BOOOM! "Dude," says Guerrero, "that was awesome!"

Back at HQ, Ilsa reports that the diamonds have been returned. Guerrero arrives with a bottle of 40-year-old scotch from Mr. Chicago, an apology for the condition he left the van in. He, Chance, and Winston have a drink and discuss how the place has changed. Winston says that whenever women enter the picture, things tend to get messy. Just then, Ames arrives. Speak of the devil.

Ames can't promise she wouldn't mess up again, but she'd be there if they needed her. Goodbye. Chance offers her a drink. Ilsa chastises Ames . . . then admits that she IS loyal. Welcome back, Ames. Now will someone pour Ilsa a drink? Yes. "Partner," says Chance as he and Ilsa clink glasses.
