Harper's Island Episode 1.10 Snap

Katherine's death mobilizes the group to leave the island immediately. Jimmy and Shane head to the marina to ready his boat, while the rest of the group heads to the clinic to pick up Cal, Chloe and Sheriff Mills. At the marina, the plane piloted by Seattle state troopers arrives to collect J.D. Dunn. The troopers don't know that J.D. is dead, so they are unsuspecting as they exit the plane and are shot to death by someone wearing Sheriff Mills' jacket. At the clinic, Cal and Chloe break the news of Sheriff Mills' disappearance. His disappearance makes him look guilty in the eyes of everyone. Perhaps he's the one responsible for Madison's abduction and the murders on the island. They decide to head to the marina and get off of the island now. At the dock, Jimmy gives Shane the signal to gas up his boat. As Shane looks at the generator for the pump, he notices two things: the oxygen tank on top of the generator ' similar to the oxygen tank the Sheriff was using the night before at the clinic and the bodies of the troopers in the water. Shane turns the generator on, triggering a huge explosion, blowing up the dock and all the boats, including Jimmy's - with Jimmy on it. The group arrives at the marina to witness the blast and then they are immediately shot at. They flee the marina and find sanctuary at The Cannery, and Nikki joins them there. Abby questions Madison. Was Sheriff Mills her captor? Their conversation is interrupted when Madison hears someone on the roof. Then, Maggie's dead body, hanging by a noose, is dropped down in front of a window. Knowing that The Cannery is no longer safe, the group plans their escape. They realize that there is a boat on the other side of the island. Using Molotov cocktails, the group creates a diversion to help Sully and Cal head to Nikki's car so they can drive to the other side of the island for the boat. The guys make it to the car, but Cal is shot in the process. Sully makes the decision to take a badly injured Cal to the clinic instead of to the sailboat.. Hours pass and a worried Chloe fears that something has happened to Cal and Sully. As they discuss their next move, Sheriff Mills' truck approaches The Cannery with an unconscious Jimmy lying on the hood. When they bring him inside they find Abby's room key on him. Abby realizes that she must go back alone to The Candlewick. At the Inn, Abby finds her father waiting for her in the room. He tells her that John Wakefield is alive and that he made a deal with him to save Jimmy. As the Sheriff tells Abby that he's her father and that he loves her, he is ripped out through the window of the room and hung to death. When Abby runs out to find him, she is approached by John Wakefield who says, "You look just like your mother."
