Our newest old friend Charles Townsend welcomes us back with an introduction to his three beautiful Angels: Abby, a Park Avenue princess raised by a crooked Wall St. baron, got her kicks as a world-class cat-burglar until the cops finally managed to bag her. Gloria served her Uncle Sam as a decorated Marine until friendly fire sent her home with a dishonorable discharge, while Kate, a top-rate detective with Miami PD, found herself corrupted by the criminals she used to fight, and caught by the officers with whom she served. Recognizing their extraordinary talents, however, Charlie offers each of them a second chance at his renowned detective bureau, the Townsend Agency.
A runaway teenage girl, Sarah Daniels, kidnapped by the South American sex trafficker known only as 'Pajaro,' is being sold somewhere inside Miami's ultra-chic Falcon Hotel and the Angels are her only hope for salvation. Abby, blending in outstandingly with the other hotel jetsetters, bugs Pajaro's agent's phone, while Gloria, playing limo chauffeur, scares the girl's location out of his middleman. Bosley, Miami's only IT wizard with a six-pack, confirms the henchmen's positions and Kate-as-housekeeper kicks down their door where, with some help from Abby, she takes down the bad guys and rescues the girl.Back at the agency Charlie congratulates the girls, who head out in high spirits - until BOOM - Gloria's car explodes as she turns the ignition.
The Angels are devastated, furious and in need of answers. A tattoo on a woman caught by the agency surveillance cameras leads to an 'Eve French,' who lives on a houseboat in the marina. The girls, still simmering - and packing heat - search the boat for answers until Eve, arriving home, disarms Abby and sparks a standoff that's broken only by the arrival of a gun-blazing helicopter. The trio dives off the boat only a moment before it's shredded to pieces by a barrage of bullets.
At the agency Eve reveals she grew up with Gloria in an El Salvadorian orphanage, then joined the same car-boosting gang as her. Gloria enlisted in the army when Eve was put away, and upon Eve's recent release from prison Gloria was helping her get back on her feet - though curiously a few days ago she wanted Eve's help with a case. Kate and Abby swallow their jealousy and join Eve in exploring Gloria's house - now a ransacked crime scene. After Abby scales the façade to gain entry, the three search for clues to no avail. Knowing Gloria, however, Eve finds a hidden safe, which, once cracked by Abby, yields a successful DNA analysis report and a photograph. Eve recognizes its subject, a revered Miami millionaire: it's Pajaro. When the Angels attempt to fill in Bosley, Eve pulls Kate's gun on Abby, citing a promise she made to Gloria: 'To kill Pajaro.' Kate and Abby talk the gun down by informing her they need Pajaro alive in order to destroy his trafficking network and save countless other girls.
Over drinks Eve informs Bosley and the Angels of how she knows Pajaro's face: as a young orphan she and Gloria were the only children to escape his merciless death squad. Finally finding him after spending her adult life tracking him put Gloria at the top of his hit list. Later at the agency, Bosley, Abby and Kate devise a plan to infiltrate Pajaro's compound when Eve, at the behest of Charlie, arrives to lend a hand. Abby, trusting in her boss's judgment, begrudgingly lets her tag along.
That night they crash a party at Pajaro's mansion in disguise as the 'Cloud 9 Catering' crew. Bosley, expertly channeling both Casanova and Rain Man, manages to sweet-talk Pajaro's trusted associate and accomplice, Russian expat Nadia Kozlova, and lures her to the shadows where Kate serves her with a knockout punch before dragging her onto their 'catering truck.' Meanwhile Eve, stopped in her tracks after witnessing an artifact from the orphanage, is cornered by Pajaro. Recognizing her as Gloria's friend, he informs her she 'should have left the past alone.' Any plans he has for her execution, however, are postponed when he discovers his dear Nadia has been kidnapped.
Nadia comes to in a G6 jet heading swiftly, she's informed by the Angels, to Russia, where the Mob has a hefty price on her head. In exchange for her return to the States, Nadia informs Kate, who's clearly an expert interrogator, of Eve's location at the docks. At that, to Nadia's horror, Bosley exits the cockpit and the opens the fuselage doors - revealing they're not over the Atlantic, but are simply parked in a Miami hangar. He gives her a shrug and a smile; she does not reciprocate.
At the docks Eve is being tortured by Pajaro for Nadia's location when the Angels arrive. Abby slips off to save her while Bosley and Kate, having spotted the trafficked girls, set out to rescue them. As Pajaro commands his henchman to kill Eve, Abby springs into action, taking down Pajaro while Eve knocks out his bodyguard. Meanwhile Bosley and Kate, teaming up in hand-to-hand combat against more thugs, fight their way to the kidnapped girls, where Bosley informs them in their native language that they're now safe.
Wielding a handgun, Pajaro manages to escape the warehouse on foot while Abby helps down Eve, who hotwires his Corvette - looks like she remembers a thing from her car-lifting days. Tearing out the warehouse doors it appears she remembers a few things -expertly burning asphalt as Pajaro takes aim at her and Abby, spraying bullets at the windshield, she's soon upon him and takes him down with the side of his car, taking him out - but not killing him. Standing over him she decides to let him live, and 'spend the rest of his life in a cage.'
The next morning, Bosley visits Eve's repair shop where, acting on Charlie's orders, he invites her to join the Angels. Though the chemistry between them is almost palpable she declines the job, until she gets a call from Charlie…
Hours later Abby, Kate and Bosley, aboard Charlie's luxury yacht, welcome in the newest Angel - Eve. Though Charlie can't make it in person he sends his congratulations and champagne and the girls - and Bosley - celebrate a job well done.
