Orwell tries on a wedding dress. A buzzing cell phone pierces her hallucination. She's actually still a captive at The Orchard, strapped to a wheelchair. The Lich picks up her cell - it's The Cape calling. The Lich tells The Cape that Orwell belongs to him now.

From his encounter with Preston Holloway, The Cape intricately lifts Holloway's fingerprints from his breastplate. Using Marty's ARK online security access, he runs the prints and tracks Holloway's ID and his place of work as The Orchard. Meanwhile, back at ARK's Prison HQ, Marty is questioning Preston, but to no effect.

In her hallucinations, Orwell imagines she's getting ready to marry Vince. But in reality, she's still at The Orchard, and it's The Lich who's whispering sweet nothings to her. The Lich's nurse Netta grows increasingly jealous.

The Cape, Max and Rollo arrive at The Orchard - but instead of finding Orwell, they're attacked by drugged patients who are there to do The Lich's bidding. The Cape and his cohorts beat back the swarm of living dead but quickly discover that Orwell's not there. They're running out of time and options.

The Lich smashes a lemon centerpiece that Netta has set up, demanding lilies instead. He storms off. Netta calls the drugged-out Orwell a whore and promises to bury her in her wedding dress.

The Cape shows up at Dana's asking for her help. He needs to get into ARK's headquarters to question Holloway himself. She enlists the help of her boss Travis, who agrees to let The Cape in via a back door.

Orwell is gradually regaining some of her senses, but is still under The Lich's spell. The Lich pulls her into a slow dance. In her dream world, she's dancing with Vince. She cuts herself, and feeling no pain, realizes it's not real. Orwell then notices a white door in the middle of the garden she's standing in.

After getting into the heavily guarded police headquarters, The Cape uses hypnotism on Holloway to find out where The Lich is hiding himself. The Cape then vanishes just before ARK police arrive to check in.

The Lich is dressed in a tux, ready for his wedding. He tells Netta she'll have to leave once he's married. She storms off. Meanwhile, in her hallucinations, Orwell is one step closer to breaking free.

Orwell detaches herself from an IV. In her dreams, she's almost married when her father shows up. It's Peter Fleming. He's there to give her away even though she doesn't want him there. The white door reappears and Orwell moves towards it. Fleming calls her away before she can walk through it.

Orwell and Fleming walk down the aisle as Vince waits for her. In reality, she's wheeled down a dank room watched by The Lich's fellow patients. As The Lich places the ring on her finger and moves to kiss her, she says, "Vince." Angered, The Lich strikes her. He tells her it's time for her to jump inside a grave for him.

On the trail of The Lich, The Cape, Max and Rollo break into Chandler Manor but soon find themselves trapped in a downstairs bunker. The Lich tells Netta to give Orwell 20 ccs of a paralytic drug and then bury her when she begins seizing. As the Cape, Rollo and Max walk through seemingly empty rooms, The Lich announces his presence.

The Lich and the Cape fight while Rollo and Max deal with a bevy of drugged patients. Netta is about to inject Orwell but Orwell wakes up in time and Netta winds up being injected herself. The Cape, Rollo and Max finally overcome the bad guys.

Dana returns home to find Trip waiting up for her. She apologizes for not believing him when he told her that The Cape existed. Trip makes her promise to buy him pizza in exchange for his forgiveness. She happily complies.

At the Carnival of Crime's hideaway, Max heals Orwell. With The Lich in prison and Fleming unable to buy the ports, Orwell feels safe enough to reveal to Max that she's not just Vince's friend but in fact Orwell herself. Max welcomes her.

Vince wraps his coat around Orwell and leaves her to recover. The white door from her dreams suddenly reappears - and it moves closer.
