With his brother dead, Zaman remains president of Pakistan. He heads to the presidential palace where he meets with his advisors and informs them that he's decided to launch a nuclear missile at Tel Aviv.

Safely back aboard the USS Grant, Zeke goes to a video chat that's been set up with his family. Unfortunately, he's confronted by both Gail and his ex-wife, Ashley, who have learned of his scheme to lead a double-life. After Gail storms out, Ashley agrees to discuss the future of her relationship with Zeke, but only once he sells the Provigil she sent for a hefty profit.

With Raja dead, Walter tries in vain to get President Navarro to change course, but his concerns fall on deaf ears. The president decides to evacuate the U.S. Embassy and Pierce urges him to get the seven Pakistani girls onto U.S. soil - even if that makes them hostages. Meanwhile, Ambassador Kittredge informs Alex and Rafiq that they'll be evacuating the girls to a U.S. air base in Afghanistan.

In the Situation Room, President Navarro and his cabinet note a 5.1 "seismic event" in Islamabad. The missile meant for Israel detonated underground. Pierce tells the president that it's time to launch Operation Infinite Wisdom, aka, full-scale war against Pakistan wherein U.S. forces neutralize every military base where a nuclear weapon could be hidden.

Commander Dougan addresses the crew aboard the carrier about Operation Infinite Wisdom. Meanwhile, a note with the word "Uppers?" scrawled on it is passed to Zeke. He and Jammer prepare to unload their stash at a high profit, but soon learn that none of the crew have any money. Dougan orders Zeke to lower his prices, or he'll confiscate the drugs. With no other choice, Zeke offers them on the house.

Walter balks at the unknown impact of the airstrike on civilians, but can't offer a better alternative. He storms out of the Situation Room with plans to get sloshed at Bobby Van's, but Kendra stops him. "Stop acting like a child, get back in there and be a goddamn grownup," she commands. Walter returns to the meeting where he wrestles Pierce over the table.

Fareeda and the girls join Ambassador Kittredge on the last helicopter out of the embassy. As they prepare to take off, a soldier tells Rafiq he can't fly with them unless he has a U.S. passport, and refuses to offer him political asylum. He and Alex watch as the chopper takes off without them.

President Navarro demands Walter resign as Secretary of State - and seek psychiatric help. Prompted by the president's suggestion, Walter remembers the three pages of Zaman's psychiatric evaluation that Alex faxed days prior. He tasks Kendra with tracking down the remaining 27, as well as a place for them to lay low while he spends his final moments as Secretary of State "doing his job".

Aboard the ambassador's helicopter, the pilot tells him they have to land immediately and lighten the load. Kittredge initially refuses to kick off the girls as they're part of his prophetic vision, but finally accepts that he misunderstood God's message and releases them. To Fareeda's amazement, she realizes they've been dropped off at her family's cabin - the work of Alex Talbot.

Alex and Rafiq run through the deserted American embassy to get to the Chinese embassy, but they're stopped by the Pakistani military and held at gunpoint. Just as General Ali gives an order to capture Alex and kill Rafiq, Alex's phone begins to ring, with Walter on the other end.
