The Story

Rick suggests a game of "crotch hockey," the goal being he needs to hit a bread roll through Chelsea's legs. If he "scores," Chelsea literally has to kiss Rick's ass; if he misses, Rick buys shots for everyone in the bar. The bread roll shoots through Chelsea's legs, but Rick good-naturedly buys the shots anyway. Jerry, the bar owner, walks through the door just as Chelsea bends over to kiss Rick's butt. Angry, Jerry demands to see them both in his office.

Jerry reprimands Rick for letting the bar get out of hand; Rick may not be manager, but Jerry still expects him to be in charge. Rick defends his actions, claiming that they bring in money and keep the customers engaged. Plus, Rick would do a great job managing the bar if Jerry would give him the chance. Jerry agrees to give Rick a test run, provided he can keep his employees under control.

In order to find love, Nikki decides to go on a negativity cleanse, clearing the negative cloud around her. Dee Dee joins Nikki, despite Todd's assurance that she doesn't have an ounce of pessimistic energy. While on the cleanse, Nikki and Dee Dee can only have distilled water, garlic cloves and really small rocks.

Rick gathers the staff together to lay down ground rules since he's the manager. No more strolling in late, no more sex in the bathroom and no more smoking pot at the bar. The staff is outraged at these seemingly lenient requests, and an eager-to-please Rick has a hard time sticking to his guns.

At the apartment, Dee Dee's stomach growls at Chelsea's grilled cheese, though Dee Dee insists that the grumbles are just negative energy leaving her body. Olivia arrives, complaining about Rick's new hard-ass policies. Chelsea blames the new rules on his being nervous about the new position; that, and he isn't getting any.

Rick starts to crack down on the staff, canceling half-priced Sunday and throwing around accusations. Chelsea retaliates by deciding to teach Rick a lesson and locks him in his own office. Chelsea's timing couldn't be worse, as Jerry arrives amidst the chaos and fires Rick on the spot.

Chelsea rounds up Todd, Nikki and Olivia to devise a plan to get Rick his job back, realizing they may have been a bit harsh. They march into Jerry's office to demand Rick's return, or all four of them will quit. Jerry claims he could care less if they leave and fires the four of them on the spot.

Later, Rick and Chelsea both admit to acting unfairly and make up. Discussing their future job aspirations, Chelsea and Rick decide to open up their own bar in the apartment. Their "floating apartment bar" could be the hottest new trend!

A short time later, the apartment is filled with customers, but Jerry's bar is empty. Confused, Jerry follows the crowd to Chelsea's apartment. He threatens to shut the illegal operation down, but noting their popularity, decides to hire the gang back instead.
