AceShowbiz - Funnyman Russell Brand has sparked rumors he's wed fiancee Katy Perry in secret - after he was snapped out in London wearing what appears to be a wedding band. The couple, which became engaged in December 2009 after a whirlwind romance, was rumored to be exchanging vows in Jaipur, India on October 23.

But gossips have been sent into a spin speculating about a secret wedding after WENN photographed the Brit on Tuesday, October 19 wearing a band around his left ring finger. If the rumors are true, Brand would have gotten his wish to keep the ceremony a private affair.

He recently told New York Magazine, "I'm trying to preserve and make it a beautiful thing... Really, love between two people is the most spectacular and ordinary thing in the world... I want to make our wedding just about me and her loving each other and we're getting married in front of our friends and family and keeping it normal."

A spokesperson for Brand declined to comment on the claims as WENN went to press.
